Am I really listening?

One day in the car I banned the word Mom from my children. I had heard it too many times that day and they had filled the quota. :) I think it is funny that they have to start every sentence with "Mom." Especially when we are in the car, since I am sitting right there. I think I would know that they are talking to me. But maybe I should really think about that. Maybe I do a little too much ignoring when they talk. Maybe they think that they have to start their sentence with "Mom" so I will answer them and then they know I am there listening. Hmmmm.... maybe I should listen a little more.
