Nervous

To tell you the truth, I am a little nervous. Usually the stock market doesn't stress me out, but whoa, it has REALLY dropped. I don't like feeling scared and unprepared. When are things going to get better? What can I do to better prepare myself and my family? Do we pull our kids out of all the extra activities, do we stop eating out, do we quit buying anything "extra"? We are very blessed, but our savings and preparedness could use some extra loving. Do we just keep living the way we are living? I don't know. It all seems just a little bit scary to me.

I have to be honest, I am a little nervous as well. We aren't as "prepared" as I wish we were either...Maybe I am crazy, but I HAVE put my kids activities on hold. Piano, gym class, swimming everything. Although, I felt half guilty for doing it, I just couldn't justify it when I knew the money could be going somewhere more important (like food storage!), for now anyway. We are blessed too, but I am beginning to feel more urgency in our priorities as of late. It is nice having the kids at home more as well. When and if things settle down, we will go back to the way things were, and not to be pessimistic - but I have a feeling things are going to get worse before they get better. I just want eo be somewhat prepared! Maybe now is the time we really heed the voice of the prophets and get all our ducks in a row while we still can??

Hmmm... you asked... and well...i'ts my specialty...so I um have two words for you Food and Storage. See the Lord is just helping me out with my calling. I'll stop praying for help in getting through to people now. :)

I've noticed that when Mark and I listen to the world (news reports..magazines..etc.) we start to feel panic and fear. Think about the wonderful talks we heard at conference and how happy and uplifted you felt, there was no doom or gloom. Do not fear or worry...go forward with faith doing the best you can. Follow the prophet and always work toward being as prepared as possible---that's my 2 cents!

It is scary. I try not to worry to much, but I can't help it sometimes! My food storage/finances could use some love too!
